A few things to report. First off, the young man who runs the boys' home we are supporting sent some recent pictures and a note that said, in part --
"Well brother, here i just want to let you know that the sewing center is running good and it was now shifted to a house and running real good! Lord has allowed me to visit the project today and there are 24 womens present for that day and we have a numbering for 40+. I heard few are away from the village."
Also, a dear Indian friend who we haven't heard from in a year popped up in my email today with news that his Christian lending library has grown and they have even completed the translation of my book "By Grace Alone" into the language of Telugu (the official language in Andhra Pradesh, India). He sent me a pdf copy, which looks very interesting -- and completely foreign. I now own a book of my words in a language I neither recognize nor understand. :-)
Thanks once again to all the people who have contributed to our mission in India. As we are quick to point out, every penny contributed goes straight to the work in India. We do not take any administrative fees and we even pay the costs involved in wiring the funds. But we couldn't do it without the generosity of people who desire to show the love of Christ by their charity to others.
So, on behalf of the sewing women, the orphans, the translators, and our friends who are driving these efforts, thank you very much.
