As hard as it is to believe, the annual Sovereign Grace Bible Conference is less than a month away. Every year the conference meets during the first full week of August. And the teaching, preaching, and fellowship are always outstanding. If you're going to be anywhere near the Lexington, KY. area, you owe it to yourself to come by. All sessions are open to the public.
The schedule of teaching and preaching is now posted on the conference website. You can visit the site here:

This will be my fifth year preaching at the conference. It's always an honor to be included in the preaching schedule, which this year includes some of my best friends and favorite preachers. Anyone familiar with GCA knows the name Barney Johnson, who will be preaching Thursday morning. And David Morris will be the daytime teacher, teaching all week on the subject of sanctification. Elder Roger Skepple is the evening teacher and his past lessons have been a great encouragement to me, so I'm looking forward to hearing what he has planned this year. He'll be teaching on discipleship. Anyway, to see the whole schedule, just click over to the site.
The last two years I had the great fun of playing drums, accompanying Michelle on the organ -- the woman with the funkiest left foot I've ever heard. If they need me, I'll play again this year. But I'm also going to be encouraging the young drummers to put their talents to use for the benefit of the conference.
This a time of year I always look forward to. I've been attending this conference for 11 or 12 years and I always come away renewed, refreshed in the word, and grateful for having been in the company of so many preachers and believers -- brethren in His sovereign grace.
I hope to see you there. And if we've never met, make sure to come say hello!
