Heading for Lexington

The image seen here is the sunlight shining through the back window of my CR-V, casting the shadow of our website address (which is imprinted on the window). I just liked the look of it.

The packing is nearly done. Tomorrow morning, bright and early, Meg and I will hit the road and by day's end we'll be in Lexington. Then, after a quick night's sleep at the Marriott, "If the Lord will, we shall live" and preach from the pulpit at Main Street once again.

Thanks for all the notes of encouragement. I have followed the advice of the several people who have adjured me to avoid fish this year. :-)

I'm really looking forward to the conference and my goal at this moment is to reach Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. At that point, I will be able to settle into a pew, the preaching part of my journey will be behind me, and I will bask in the Word of God as it is preached by able friends and brethren.

Pray for us as we travel. Posted by Picasa
